2016 Menu

We haven’t yet set the menu for the 2017 Ride, however here is a sneak peak at what was enjoyed at the 2016 event.

Friday,

Snacks of venison biltong dried wors, peanuts & raisins served upon arrival. A great carbo loading meal is served for Friday evening, Venison Lasagne, Cesar salad, rolls & butter and to end off a delicious Berry & Meringue dessert

Saturday,

A selection of cereals, muffins, yogurt and fruits is served sparrows on Saturday morning before the race begins, with Egg & Bacon rolls being served on route for the hungry cyclists.   Lunch back at camp is a hefty venison burger roll served with cheese, fried onions and condiments.  Snacks of venison biltong dried wors, peanuts & raisins will be served in the early evening , followed by Smoked warthog on the spit, a three bean salad, green salad and to finish off decadent chocolate brownies & custard.

Sunday,

Breakfast is the same as Saturday with another awesome Egg & Bacon station on route.

Tea and Coffee will be available on a self-service basis throughout the race, with the bar being open for refreshments from early morning.

Please Note :

  • As we are in a reserve where water is precious, please will you bring along your own drinking water, as well as any other refreshments, energy drinks and additional snacks that you may require.  The nearest town in 30 minutes drive
  • Please specify if you are a vegetarian
